7th ESLympics

The competition is on as contestants battle it out for the chance to represent the University of the Cordilleras in the upcoming 7th ESLympics.

Students from different college departments showcased their wit and eloquence as to out do each other during the university-wide elimination, held October 13, 2015. The categories of the competition were Humorous Speech, Impromptu speech, International Speech and Essay writing. This year's theme is, "Communication, fostering and inspiring change for the future."

After the dust settled, the College of Arts and Sciences was able to bag wins: Sophie Mia Rimando was declared champion for Humorous Speech category and Rahel Lorenzo for Impromptu Speech category.

Sweet victory indeed. Should the representatives of UC be this year's champion, we will then have our mark on the Hall of Fame. UC, keep high the torch!
